Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions
Updated: 16/01/26

The following terms and conditions apply to all traders engaging with our website. When interacting with our booking system to book a position at our markets, the following terms and conditions apply:

1. Booking and Payment

  • Application Approval: Submission of an application does not guarantee a space. The organisers reserve the right to curate the market to avoid over-saturation of specific product types. This is to cover online bookings.
  • Payment Terms: Pitch fees must be paid in full. Failure to pay will result in the forfeiture of your space and may result in all future bookings being declined.
  • Cancellations: Refunds will only be issued if the trader cancels at least 24 hours before the event. If the market is cancelled due to extreme weather, we will offer you a full refund or a credit for a future date.

2. Insurance and Compliance

  • Public Liability Insurance: All traders must hold valid Public Liability Insurance and provide a copy of the certificate upon booking or registering with us.
  • Food Hygiene: Food traders must be registered with their local authority, hold a minimum 4-star Hygiene Rating, and provide valid Food Hygiene Certificates.
  • Risk Assessment: Every trader must complete a basic Risk Assessment for their stall (including fire risks if using gas/electricity).

3. On-Site Operations

  • Set-up and Pack-down: Traders must arrive between 07:30 am and 08:45 am. All vehicles must be moved to the designated parking area by 9 am. We encourage traders to stay until the market closes, but we also understand that you may run out of stock or emergencies may occur. Please discuss this with us on the day, and bring a sold-out sign.
  • Pitch Maintenance: Traders are responsible for providing their own gazebos (with weights) and display equipment. Gazebos must be securely weighted; stakes are not allowed. We will provide tables.
  • Waste Management: This is a “Leave No Trace” event. Traders must take all their rubbish home. Disposal of oils or food waste in farm drains is strictly prohibited.

4. Farm-Specific Rules

  • Biosecurity: To protect farm animals, traders must stay within the designated market area. No unauthorised access to barns or livestock pens.
  • Smoking/Vaping: Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited within the market area and near any hay, straw, or farm buildings.
  • Dogs: Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome!

5. Product Standards

  • Authenticity: We prioritise local, handmade products. Please specify if items are bought-in or handmade. We reserve the right to ask for the removal of items not declared on the application form.
  • Sustainability: We encourage plastic-free packaging where possible to align with the farm’s values.
